Rooted In Heritage. Flourishing Through Time.

“Polished yet unafraid of work, graceful yet steadfast.”

— Ivy’s spirit lives in every corner of House of Ivy.

The Story Behind The Name

House of Ivy carries the name of a woman whose life was defined by quiet strength and timeless grace.

Ivy Mae Hansen built beauty in the most grounded, steadfast ways — through her award-winning gardens, through the work of her hands, and through the unwavering devotion she offered to family, farm, and community.

Her gardens were known for their color and abundance, but her true legacy lived in the way she held things together. She embodied the belief that beauty and resilience can share the same soil, that elegance is not fragile, and that love is something you nurture season after season.

House of Ivy is shaped by those values.

Every plant, every curated object, every workshop and gathering reflects the spirit she carried so naturally: grace in strength, refinement in work, and love in legacy.

To carry her name is to reflect the tenderness she gave to the world — cultivating spaces, stories, and moments that stand the test of time

The heart of House of Ivy is heritage, but heritage is not only something preserved — it is something grown.

In honoring the past, we also look toward the future.

This belief guides us into the next chapter — one rooted in remembrance, friendship, and a devotion to the earth.

The Sara Amasa Project honors the life of Sara Amasa Madsen, a childhood friend whose presence shaped an entire generation of memories in Teton Valley. Her life was grounded in the outdoors — in river currents, back roads, wildlife, and the quiet places where nature teaches resilience. She stood fearlessly for what could not stand for itself and carried a rare kindness that left an imprint long before it was fully understood.

The Sara Amasa Project is a gentle tribute to that spirit and a steadfast call to live with intention — to reconnect with nature, to give generously, and to protect what is fragile.

It will take shape through service efforts, environmental stewardship, community projects, and future partnerships that honor both her values and her way of seeing the world.

This initiative is still growing its roots,

but its purpose is clear:

to ensure that the beauty and strength of

Sara’s legacy continues to shape the lives around it.
